grey evening sky brings a night of rain
grey evening quiet hours bring dreams to reign
holding school-girl images of being the new kid in town
attempting to fit in, play nice, not get lost, stay afloat and not drown
only to wake to comforting reality – the bird cheering dawn on the plain

Slowly flowing like lazy tumbled-weeds in a deserted town

The elderly walkers circuit the mall interior before it opens

Almost any day of the year – out of the weather
