Autumn Druge?
(OctaTimbre in syllables)

Theirs is a treeless lawn where the
Leaves congregate and fall from a
Variety of neighborhood
Oaks, maples, ash, chestnut, others;
Named just some that shed their colors –
They’ve put up a temporary
Fence in a hope to block what blows
They pick up their rakes, take their piles
Straight across the street and put them
Under the major offender…

a grief fills that place
where her love should have gone; and
so tears are still shed

disease grew. she left babies
no comfort can match her loss
