The American 767

adjust to suit

nightly list gratitude thoughts
or flip it, and write first
reinterpreting karma

Inspired by: Write something at the end of everyday.

8,879 ways to give yourself and others
good fortune right now.

Karma is cause and effect. Dharma means cosmic law.
Yoga is enlightenment through movement and Tao is the
practice of acting in harmony with the fundamental essence
of everything you encounter.

Note: my haiku (or other forms) are my interpretations
or of how I might put the inspirational sentence
into practice, for me. Also, I am going in my own order.

Created by Dennis L. Dean. The American 767 is:
a tristich, a poem in 3 lines. (Cool thing to know!)
syllabic, 7-6-7 syllables per line. Unrhymed.
The original prompt asked to include a bug. Not sure if that is part of the script.
But then I often go of script 🙂

Additional Note(s)
haiku, Elfje, landay, Shadorma
The four separate pieces can be individuals or
ever so slightly related to the theme of ‘Do good’’.
In the Shadorma though most likely based in fiction
Caesar’s wife in the play by William Shakespeare
tried to do good, as she had a dream of her husbands’ doom –
and tried to warn him to stay home.

Please see the link for more information and examples for the landay
shadorma (a non-rhyming six-line poem in 3/5/3/3/7/5)

The landay originated in Afghanistan. It is a folk couplet that is oral in nature:
1. Twenty two syllables broken into two couplets (nine in the first, thirteen in the second);.

Two Firsts…

Part 1

Something new to help some friends. Help them celebrate their wedding day June 18th, 2011. Take a few moments and just a few words to say; “Happy Forever!”          Please go to this address on June 18th:

http://www.fionarobyn.com/wedding/blogsplash.html

When the honeymooners return they’ll find karma bouncing high – remember nice is as nice does, joy to all etc. 🙂

Part 2

Duo’s and triplets of Tricksters challenge me to electronically get it right –

A word they’ll never understand ‘Blogsplash’

But surely even if I try – the Ravens will have  delight~
