Waiting for a Key Carrier

In the nearly deserted parking lot, through the rear view mirror
And the horizontal lines of the defroster of the back window
I can see grassy blades of greens and browns on the small land divider
They sparkle with white dots – the morning’s frozen dew
Set aglow by the by the banana moon within this chilled four o’clock hour
