Love 8
Panning for Gold?

The patter
Of my heart – is it
Close in dreams
Or far like
Neverland’s location – come
Seek, and please find me…

Elfje and haiku :
Golf with your Dad

sports
with family
can be fun
I golf with my
hubby
*
small round white balls roll
into tiny holes on greens –
walking with long sticks

calling ‘fore’ to warn others
of our errant shots – we laugh

just for our pleasure
no stress, we drive and putter
‘par’ for our course.

Inspired by: Golf with your Dad
from: Instant Karma by Barbara Ann Kipfer
8,879 ways to give yourself and others
good fortune right now.
*
Karma is cause and effect. Dharma means cosmic law.
Yoga is enlightenment through movement and Tao is the
practice of acting in harmony with the fundamental essence
of everything you encounter.

Note: my haiku (or other forms) are my interpretations
or of how I might put the inspirational sentence
into practice, for me. Also, I am going in my own order.

haiku
the towers he built
banking gold, solid, cold
wants recognition
~~~~~
the towers he built
banking gold, solid, cold
wants recognition
his thin lips orders braying
shattering the calm stillness
he pays silver coins
to shine fashionable spats
his words… persuading
April 1st piece:
Expedition
she paid no mind to
fashion, forging to contrive
her own trope… swaying
her lips she did purse, a tune
scattered dust from the valise
the attic of her
mind, like a wallet held still
time; like gold treasure
Free Verse and an Elfje
always up
down in the canyon
sharing delights
of a landscape
painted and
weathered
by the sun
always up
the sun rising
through pines that
glisten like gold
to rocks
with stories
yet to be told
always up
down in the canyon
to expanding
the view from
the birds eye
in the whisper breeze
of poetic song
~~~
wren
resting, recites
the local majesty
down in the canyon –
up
