Orange You Glad?
(Sedoka, pi ku, tau ku, Septolet)

Started late, by seed,
The California poppies
Finally they grew; brilliant
Open with the sun
Closed for days now due to rain
That drowns out the bird singing

orange disc
four petals all

overlap slightly when
and following the daylight star

At last
This morning
The orange
Sun returns

Returning from
Walking, colorful
Poppies open

My other main blogs that my icon may or may not go to when I leave a comment:
Flash Fiction = Fiction or non… Longer Strands = longer verse

Thanks to https://watermelonseeds1.wordpress.com/ for introducing the Septolet
Which is 7 lines, 14 words, two parts that relate to each other.
