made it home before the brunt of the blizzard of January 2016

the walks and driveway – destination: Home
(we may have gotten the first of two feet of ‘flother’)

…persistent error of all among linguists,…English has only one word for snow.
flight or flother for a violent snowstorm

    • T’was just him travelling… He’s shoveling out the dryer vent now.
      Snow is still falling.
I think I might put a fire in the hearth…and put up tea or coffee.

The City plow has come through once. But we have not even made an attempt yet to clear the drive to the street.
