Pleiades
slow and steady

start at the beginning
simplify your actions
sing, hum merry tunes
sort, give, gift, toss away
success sometimes seems far
section, divide large tasks
savor accomplishments

Karma is cause and effect. Dharma means cosmic law.
Yoga is enlightenment through movement and Tao is the
practice of acting in harmony with the fundamental essence
of everything you encounter.

Note: my haiku (or other forms) are my interpretations
or of how I might put the inspirational sentence
into practice, for me. Also, I am going in my own order.

Invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman, the Pleiades is a seven-line poem.
Each line begins with the same letter and is six syllables long.

  1. Truer words couldn’t be offered – for indeed, we often have more treasures than we realize – and far more than truly meets our needs – even if we aren’t of the “wealthier” classes. And so – I say – simplify simplify simplify.

    (I’m trying 😉 )

    Great IK Jules 😀

    • After about two years, since trees fell; I am slowly reclaiming my yard. some piles have vanished. Other rearranged as the wood gets cut and re-stacked. Getting close to the point where hubby is going to have to take out the chain saw which he won’t let me use. And maybe me not using a chain saw is a good thing!

(EEK don’t look at me for guidance in the too much stuff department. I make some progress every now and then…but heck, I know I’ve got too much stuff. – I’m trying -very- too) 🙂

      • LOL —- we all do as we can – when the moment strikes – and so it we continue – besides, I have a theory – our “stuff” reproduces itself in the spaces and time when we have forgotten about it – I *swear* it’s absolutely true!

As for the chainsaw – yeah, stay away from those things. Not a good idea. nope. nope. nope.

          • roflmao – I was going to mention missing socks – in the wash – because I *know* where they end up – but I thought, better not let the “crazy” out of the bag XD

            • Most folks think socks go bye-bye in the dryer because that’s where we can’t find them. But hubby explained they just go over the rim and through the pipes and into the sewer they go… And they will never ever come back.

              • Well, that’s a reasonable explanation – but I still shake my head in *truth & knowledge* – giggling madly – oh how I feel very light-headed today ….
