…producing volumes…
(CD 622 solitude? 12.9)

solitude might have
been if the rain froze this morn
few delays today

so the schedule does remain
for noise makers to arrive

cold, cranky people
little in size producing
volumes of ‘I wants’

at least I can say; they do
say please and thank you to me

as young as they are
manors have and will be taught
to our grandchildren

  1. At first glance I didn’t think of this as haiku, but it does have that haiku spirit. Minimalist yet tells a whole story. Hope you get to enjoy both the kids and moments to yourself.

    • Have to look at this when sleeping child awakens.

One of the children’s channels has a Kindness contest.
I am amazed at what some children are very capable of.

The little girl who started Alex’es Lemonade stand comes to mind also.

    • Hubby showed me a video the other day of a toddler throwing a tantrum because he didn’t make his put for golf. I wonder where the child got that idea from or maybe he was just being a child? Be you he’s not going to be happy that this video has gone viral -especially when he is an adult.

      • No he probably won’t be happy. There was another video of the parent smoking n the child mimicking. Same with parent yelling at someone and child mimicking. The theme was the child learns from what they see. So we know where the child learned the tantrum from.
