  1. Now I understand the form a bit more I like this rather a lot.
BT re Lost in Space. Here’s my reply which you may not be able to pick up by normal means.

I really like the premise in Terminator 3 where the Skynet program is supposed to take out a rampaging computer virus which turns out to be Skynet itself.
    Eerliy prescient

  2. Love this one Jules – it compliments my own elfje expaining the form. I must share this one on Simply Elfje! As usual I will let you know when.

  3. Going to reply to your comment from my blog on here so you can see it. (And I found out you have limited html usage on comments woohoo)

“I hope so too. I have clicked “email response” on two blogs and they are both popular ones so I had to clear over 100 emails just for comments.

I have left a message on the forum and I have contacted them directly. I just hope I hear something soon. As I said on the forum, there are plenty of other blog hosts I could use.”

  4. This helps with the actual use of the elfje, I was not positive I knew all the elements! It would be challenging. I tend to write in free form poetry, if I do try. Definitely not good at rhyming. Maybe sometime, I will give this a whirl! Nice job, as always!

    • I’ve got some how to’s on short forms on different pages. I rarely rhyme. Mostly free verse myself.
      Better Elfjie info also here:

With the help of friends I’ve developed the Elfje into doubles, triples, quads and quits. Reverse jobs, and The Wave which combines the straight and reverse flow.
You might also like American Lunes – you count words instead of syllables similar to haiku. I’ve got a page for that too. Enjoy.

Important Blog Change: I regret that I have to take the 'LIKE' button away. I am getting too many non-related ads and choose not to actively share them. If all you wish to leave is a 'LIKE' pop in a :) Please note: This is an AD FREE BLOG! Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful suggestions. I do not Tweet, Pinterest nor am I on Facebook.
