Through the ‘Looking’ Lens
…are circles always complete
overlapping as they do like ripples of
straight dropped rain in waiting water
stars, pinpoints of light tracing
dreams, constellations – foreign stories
depending on where you look
what might be could matter especially to
Dorothy – she needed to see yellow bricks leading
to the Emerald city, while Auntie Em cried
Alice looked too closely and fell into the
looking glass, where nothing was as it appeared and
where a white rabbit wore a waistcoat
Fairy stories are never clear
until that ‘ah ha’ moment when we lose part of our
childhood – in an attempt to ‘grow up’
photographs
linger, bringing
mystery ‘memoried’ moments
brief points of clarity

Enjoyed the closing Elfje with this as well!! You have been on a marathon roll. Thank you for the introduction to so many new blogs. Will return to read more of the links.
Have a blessed weekend.
This blog was only ever meant to be a link to The River. As I am not good with copy and paste or photo stuff still and haven’t responded to ‘awards’ I thought this would be a good way to return the ‘favor’. I can only hope that I’ve been able to introduce some older friends with newer faces.
And I’ve only been blogging for about two years!
These are certainly special honors and awesome tributes! THANK YOU for sharing, and including me among the mix!
Nice one Jules. I agree with Freya!
good elfje to sum up the poem – clever imagery throughout – I love the way you look at things!
Nice one Jules.
