Drawn Curtains…
In our own little corners of our own little homes
we have some windows that we can close and open
Sometimes we get lucky and we get to see inside
someone elses home – when we are graciously invited in
Some homes have little windows that look out on alleys others
are grand in size looking out bows and bays – old romantic homes
have old windows there effort is needed to peak through
wooden framed art glass that hundreds of years old
In more modern times a new window has evolved -
there are no buildings, or fancy frame work – just ether
that allows us to create and design windows for others to
see inside the windows of our souls…and when invited there
We get to share and see all that is real, mystical and magical
All that the heart wants to share as we grow together and
narrow the distance between the barriers and boarders
that other men have made…so we can share our creativity…
May all the windows that allow in the yellow sun in the morning
and the gentle breezes of moon kissed silver that plays through
the familiar and the new enlighten our individual souls as we
explore all our gracious blessings our hostess has to offer.

open
the window
breath in deeply
the gifts that share
life

I enjoyed the way this poem moved – I love the idea of the internet being windows into other people’s lives – makes it less scary somehow
Transparently lovely.
oh wow! this is beautiful. It has a pleasant air of e. e. cummings, thanks to the lack of punctuation and the simple images, but it’s also distinctly you, celebrating the potential for unity and harmony in the world.
