I had to save this day for
the one dedicated to ‘arts’
for the ‘heart collector’
The one who loves green and Kermit the Frog
and who softly walks in secreted gardens
that are photographed – no hearts spared -
because the beauty is just that special that it that
it has to be shared…
So here I honor
a small stone gatherer
the ‘heart collector’
The one who challenges the internal pieces
the ones that sometimes don’t want to fit
into the puzzle that has become our current life -
because there is beauty in forgiving ourselves
daughter, sister, mother, wife…
for the ‘heart collector’
the one dedicated to the ‘arts’
