Sometimes when we go looking at the moon
Seeking similar poetic souls in our world
We get more than lucky – because
We find sisters…

The ones that aren’t blood relatives
But you wish they were – because they seem
So well to respect and understand, your hand…
We find sisters

Your hand the one that picks up a pen at all and
and any hour – to record a meteor shower or just help
to jib the mast…especially if you’ve never sailed…
We find sisters

Candy
Trees wobble
Offering delights aplenty
As we set sail…
Sisters
