Sometimes little thoughts cannot be contained.
You start out with a simple observation and it grows.
The words on the page, like rain in a river, flow.
Inspiration is like that. You wake up looking for a direction.
The feather of an angel’s wing brushes your cheek -
and one single candle ends up being as bright as the sun.

Exactly!! Until you get TO much rain in that river LOL then the river over flows! LOVE this poem!!!
They can certainly have a life of their own. I remember as a journalist the hardest part was the first word or line and then it just flowed.
