an upside down morning
above my head white beach sand
in gentle dunes spill across the sky
the caw of what could have been
a seagull looking for breakfast
from the sea,… lingers….
somewhere, for someone this is
a right side up morning and
all they have to do to get to the
warm blue ocean is use their feet…
