You’ve forgotten to put out the trash.
I briefly visit the silver frosted scene
outside, taking the can to the curb…

I really like the loving but commonplace feel of this poem – like it’s about a love that is ingrained in the daily routine of your life. It’s very moving, with a peaceful atmosphere.
